Maire had another great
year in 2006. She produced outstanding twin daughters,
won a Best In Show award, and placed 8th with
3rd udder at Nationals! Maire is a
hardworking doe with a phenomenal udder! Tightly
attached all around, she has a high wide rear, excellent
fore extension and correct teat placement. Judges
describe her udder as “ideal”; and she has won many Best
Udder awards. A wide doe fore and rear, Maire is deep
bodied and powerful with excellent feet and legs. Maire
has proven her ability to pass her strong points to her
offspring; she has numerous sons and daughters working
in other herds. One son, Malone, appraised EX 91 EEE in
2006! Her daughters, and granddaughters, are following
in her hoof prints; MonaLisa finished her championship
in 2006. We are thrilled to own two Maire daughters and
a son. Maire was bred back early this year. She looks
wonderful at nearly seven years of age!
Maire won multiple BOB awards
in 2007.

MonaLisa was a lot of
fun to show this year. She easily finished her
championship in May and she was extremely competitive
all year. She was GCH five times, and then we retired
her for several weeks. We did show her in Challenge
classes later in the year where she did very well.
MonaLisa appraised Excellent last year, scoring Very
Good or Excellent on EVERY structural trait! Smooth and
stylish, she is a powerhouse doe, with incredible width
throughout and great depth of body. Her feet and legs
are strong and sound. MonaLisa has a gorgeous tightly
attached udder; her rear udder is exceptionally wide and
beautifully arched. She peaked at over 16 lbs and held
that production throughout a busy show schedule.
She was an important part of our group classes this
year, and with Mai re and Gabriela even won several Best
Dairy Herd in Show awards.
MonaLisa
is proving to be an outstanding brood doe.
Every daughter has been show quality and
both milking daughters have excellent udders
and milk production. Both milking daughters
have in turn produced excellent offspring.
MonaLisa also has fine offspring through her
sons; we are especially pleased with Abbey
Road. We also have two lovely daughters
in our herd, both very similar to their dam.
MonaLisa
represents the ideal combination of beauty and
productivity. MonaLisa daughter Paris is pictured below.

Mona Lisa’s 2007
triplets were sired by Caspian. We retained her daughter
Jacqsonné and the other kids have been sold. Both of her
2007 daughters earned dry legs their FIRST TIME SHOWN!
MonaLisa is working on an exceptional
lactation in 2007, projected for close to 4000 lbs. She
was once again the All Breed Milk Production Champion at
the WV State Fair, where she milked nearly 15 lbs on a
One Day Test at 6.5 months fresh.

Priority joined our herd
last summer. She is a large, long doe, the tallest doe
in the herd. She is board level and extremely dairy with
an udder that is tightly attached and pleasing in shape.
Priority was just about unbeatable this year. She won 1st
or 2nd in large competitive classes at every
show this year. Priority also produced beautiful
triplets in 2006.She is a strong producer with an
extremely level, steady lactation. We were thrilled when
Priority’s dam (pictured at right) won the three-year-old class
at the ADGA
National Show. We are so thankful to the Adels family
for entrusting Priority to us.
Priority had an exceptional
show year in 2007. She was1st or 2nd at
every show, and easily finished her
championship. She also appraised VG 89 and
earned her star on a One Day Test. Priority
is a breathtaking doe and a great asset to
our herd. |

We
lost Eva’s dam Catarina immediately after
kidding in 2006. While we miss her in the
barn and in our breeding program, her
daughter Eva is certainly a tribute to her. We are very
excited about this young doe. It is Eva’s width and
power coupled with open ribbing and an elegant style
that have brought her such success. Her legs are
correctly set and she has excellent feet.
Eva’s udder is tightly
attached and beautifully shaped. She is an excellent
milker.
Eva was a star in 2007. Just two years
old, but she was GCH and BOB her very first time in the
ring to finish her championship! She was also BOB her
first time out in the challenge class. Eva was ill late
this summer, which affected her LA score and One Day
test. She has since bounced back and is in excellent
condition. We are excited to see what she can accomplish
in 2008!

Abbey is one of our tallest does, and
she has the depth, length, and width to match. She is
ultra dairy and feminine, like her lovely dam. We love
Abbey’s stylish head, and the length and openness she
displays throughout. She is level with an especially
nice rump, and her legs are sound and strong.
Abbey is very correct throughout, with her most glaring
fault being her feet, where we’d like to see tighter
toes. Abbey produced triplets as a yearling with ease; she is a hard
worker but an easy keeper. Abbey’s udder is exceptional,
perfectly smooth blending both fore and rear and an
excellent area of attachment. Her teats are well
delineated and her udder texture is soft as silk.
Abbey was an exciting two year
old. She never placed lower than 2nd all
year long, and she was a contender in
the GCH line-up, earning 2 milking legs. . Additionally she scored VG
89, and earned her milk star.
Abbey is also producing some
outstanding kids. Her daughter Antoinette
has many show wins this year and together
they are hard to beat in Dam and Daughter
classes!
In 2008 Abbey easily finished her
championship her second time in the ring!

We love this MonaLisa
look-alike! Monet is a clone of her dam, hence her name.
She has tremendous height, width, and openness to the
escutcheon. This width is carried throughout her body,
from between her hocks to her powerful, smooth front-end
assembly. Monet is a huge kid and she was very
competitive this year in the showring. We feel this kid
has incredible potential.
Monet freshened 3-22-07
with beautiful twin daughters, MichalAngela and
Primadonna, we retained Primadonna. Monet’s udder is
outstanding. She has the same incredible height, width,
and arch to the rear udder as her dam. Monet has a
smooth extended fore udder, excellent teats and a
well-defined MSL. We are delighted with Monet and
especially pleased that she won her milking
star as a yearling, producing 11.5 lbs with
4% butterfat!
A severe udder trauma just
after freshening ended Monet's show career.
While she will never show again, she still
milks well, and her affectionate and
extremely intelligent personality makes her
a barn favorite. We think her two milking
daughters will prove her qualities, and we
plan to keep Monet in the herd as a valuable
brood doe.

Antoinette is absolutely
lovely and a great favorite. She is eye-catching, with a
graceful uphill walk. Antoinette is feminine with fine
skin, flat bone, and open ribbing. She combines these
traits with exceptional width in the escutcheon and
between the hocks. Antoinette was a standout at every
show we attended this year. We can’t wait to see her
freshen!
Antoinette freshened
with her dam’s udder. High, wide and tightly attached
with a pleasing shape, excellent texture, and lots of
milk. Her daughter Antonella is lovely.
Antoinette has won many classes this
year, while still maintaining excellent production!
Antoinette is simply milking buckets a
two year old this year. She is consistently producing
over 16-17 lbs of milk each day, while maintaining body
condition.
Antoinette has been winning in

We

same width, power and excellent front end. We think this
young doe has big potential!
Jacqsonné was BJDIS her
first time in the ring! We also showed her at WV State

developed into a huge powerful doe, with open ribbing, a

Gabriela is a stylish and dairy doe displaying great
length throughout. Her topline and rump are board level,
and she is smoothly blended and correct .Her udder is
snugly attached with a large area of attachment. She is
proving herself to be a wonderful brood doe; she passes
on her strengths and shows improvements in her
daughters. All three of her milking daughters are lovely
does with outstanding mammary systems. Gabriela will
soon be seven, and she looks her best ever. She also had
her best lactation ever in 2006, easily producing over
3000 lbs. We retained her 2006 daughter, Tannith, and we
are very pleased with her. We bred Gabriela to Chance, a
very similar breeding to Waiilatpu WRAT Ginger, a
stunning young doe in the Soldier-Mtn herd.
Gabriela freshened late in
2007 and consequently was shown very little.
She is milking hard this year, and easily
earned her star on a one day test milking
over 13 lbs!
