About Our Soaps
Our soaps
are made with fresh milk from our Alpine dairy goats.
Goat milk
has been used as a luxurious beauty aid for centuries.
The milk proteins, which contain alpha-hydroxy acids and
lactic acid, are helpful at renewing skin cells.
The pH is
much closer to our skin’s pH than commercial soaps.
Goat milk is
rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals, creamy and
moisturizing, a special treat for your skin.
Our goal is
to make gentle, natural bath and body products that
gently clean and moisturize.
These soaps
are handcrafted and may vary slightly in bar shape and
size. It’s part of their homemade charm

We can custom make bars of soap in your
choice of scent, color, and size/shape to make uniquely
special wedding or party favors. Bars can be packaged in
personalized packaging of your choice, including velvet
pouches, organza bags, or little gift boxes. These bars
can be smaller guest sized bars, too. Please inquire for

Gardener Bar
These bars combine soothing shea butter,
honey and Vitamin E oil with the scrubbing power of
cornmeal and dried garden herbs. A delightful fresh
citrusy scent helps eliminate odors. These bars are
scented with essential oils with cleansing and
antibacterial properties: tea tree, orange, lime, and
litsea cubeba. Golden bars speckled with and garden herbs.
Orange and Cloves
A
bright burst of true juicy orange scent, blended with
vanilla, and spice.
This
irresistible scent of orange is
blended together with a hint of warm aromatic
spices of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and ginger. These bars
are cream colored with
strawberry seeds to exfoliate
Coconut Lime Verbena
A tantalizing fusion of
fresh coconut, lime and invigorating verbena soothed by
luscious vanilla. A beautiful cream
colored bar.
Mint Julep
These bars are for mint lovers. The bars
are lightly colored with French green clay and
cosmetic mica. These bars capture a perfect mint aroma,
scented with pure triple distilled peppermint essential
with a tiny dash of patchouli essential oil. A real
treat!
Cool Cucumber
A rich creamy bar with a cool fresh
cucumber scent. A delicate swirl with green mica makes
this refreshing bar pretty too!
Bee My Honey
Pure sweet honey fragrance fills these tan bars with
pretty textured tops. The include locally produced honey
and a sweet honey fragrance.
Pomegranate
These bars smell just like a fresh juicy
pomegranate. Ivory bars.
Peaks Of Otter
Dixie-Soaps is located close to the
beautiful Peaks Of Otter mountains and this soap was
created to celebrate their beauty. A cool refreshing
herbal blend of essential oils, enhances the experience;
close your eyes and sniff to imagine cool pine forests
and soaring mountain tops. Blend includes mint,
lavender, and tea tree oils.

Pure patchouli essential oil has
skyrocketed in price, and is usually at least $100 per
pound. Yet, true patchouli lovers love that classic rich
earthy fragrance and no other scent will do. We have
chosen to continue carrying the rich patchouli bars with
pure essential oil, but we have had to raise their price
accordingly.

Our Cool Water is a
fresh invigorating scent popular with men, a dupe of the
popular fragrance. A pretty light blue bar with white
swirls.
Rosemary
Our Rosemary is a
fresh herbal scent and very popular. It contains dried

Ahh, pink sugar! A bit of a misnomer, since the vanilla
in this bar creates a rich dark brown bar. Pink sugar is

Oatmeal Milk n' Honey
This naturally scented speckled tan bar is a feast for
your skin and senses. Lots of goat milk, finely ground
oatmeal, and locally produced honey scent this bar with
a light sweet fragrance. Honey is a natural humectant,
adding moisture, while oatmeal gently exfoliates and
nourishes.
Lemongrass-Sage
This bar is one of our consistent best sellers. It’s a
bright citrus burst with a hint of mint freshness. This
pale yellow bar is scented with sweet orange,

This lilac is a true old-fashioned sweet lilac scent. If
you have ever smelled a lilac bush in full bloom you can
imagine the sweet floral perfume captured in this soap.
Due
to customer requests the lilac bars are now a soft
mauve-y lilac shade, colored by purple cosmetic mica. So
pretty and still the same true lilac fragrance. New

Lavender
A true herbal lavender , this soap has

finest grade of lavish oils: jojoba, apricot kernel,
rice bran, and fractionated coconut. Parabens free.
These oils were chosen for their moisturizing nourishing
properties and silky, non greasy feel. Try a sugar
scrub....your skin will thank you.

with black dome lids and a pressure sealed disk for your

Our main recipe
ingredients: saponified sunflower oil,
coconut oil, olive oil, lard; goat milk; fragrance oil or
essential oil; and ultramarines and micas for
color.
We use
only natural colorants; ultramarines
and micas .
We leave many of our soaps in their natural state; these
are generally shades of white through tan. Soaps scented
with vanilla or cinnamon type fragrances will turn a
shade of brown. Herbs and botanicals may affect color
slightly too. We do not use any chemical colorants.
We sometimes
add other ingredients such as vitamin E, aloe vera
juice, ground cucumber, strawberry seeds, and dried
herbs or teas.
There are
numerous clays mined from the earth that are beneficial
to the skin! We use Kaolin clay and French green clays for their beneficial properties.

Try our all-natural lip balms to soothe
and moisturize your lips.
Our lip balms are made from 100% natural
ingredients: beeswax, shea butter, sweet almond oil,
vitamin E oil, and flavoring oil. They are naturally
smooth and creamy, not greasy, with no chemicals or
preservatives.
Why Use
Natural Lip Balm?
Shea butter is the most important
ingredient in our lip balm. Shea butter's effect on the
skin is different from that of petroleum jelly. Instead
of lying inert on the surface of the lips, it is
absorbed by the skin cells. Because it improves the
moisture retention capacity of your lips, your lips
become dry and chapped much less frequently.
Shea butter moisturizes the skin and
restores the skin cells' elasticity when applied to the
lips. It not only hydrates your skin cells it can also
help the cells regain their natural elasticity so that
they are better able to keep moisture from escaping.
Shea butter contains both a high
moisturizing fraction and an extraordinarily high
healing fraction.
Petroleum-based lip balm doesn't pretend
to fix the problem that causes dry chapped lips.
Instead, it basically acts as a band-aid - slightly
moisturizing the surface of the lips and trapping the
moisture there, thus temporarily making the lips less
dry.
